Oil Base Paints
I have a historic house and the trim has all been painted with oil base enamel. I know I have to use oil on top of it, but it turns yellow after a few years. Why and is there a product that does not turn yellow?

I am applying primer to a stippled ceiling in my back landing/stairway. I do not think it has ever been painted before (hence the primer). It is peeling off in some areas…why? and will another coat help this?
