I live in a old house with stucco exterior. Our house is in NW Kansas. The stucco is on top of a red clay block construction, I assume the house was built in the 30’s or 40’s I don’t know for sure. What I need to know is how do
Our cedar house has gone black from mold. We have washed it with mildew remover. We would like to do a solid stain on top of some of the black that can’t be removed.
I AM THINKING ABOUT PAINTING MY TRIM WORK AND DOORS WHICH HAVE PREVIOUSLY BEEN STAINED. I KNOW THEY HAVE NOT BEEN VARNISHED BUT THEY DO SEEM TO HAVE SOME TYPE OF “SEALER” ON THEM. CAN YOU TELL ME THE BEST STEPS TO TAKE TO PAINT THEM.
I ORIGINALLY PAINTED MY INTERIOR WALLS WITH KIDS ZONE PAINT FOR THE DURABILITY AND EASE OF CLEAN-UP. I HAVE SINCE PAINTED AGAIN WITH THE SAME KIND OF PAINT. HOWEVER THIS TIME THE PAINT HAS NOT ADHERED WELL. IT CHIPS OFF EASILY AND ONCE CHIPPED IT WILL EVEN PEEL OFF. I’M
