I took dry wallpaper off above our bathroom. I removed the adhesive, cleaned the walls, tape, mudded, sanded, cleaned the walls again, waited several weeks and painted the walls/ceiling with oil based Kilz. No problem. Two days later I painted with Zinsser Perma White and now it has tiny craters
Our house is 25 years old and the ceiling was varnished over natural pine. Would like to use a 1 to 1 white paint to water solution to lighten. Do I have to sand off or has it been long enough that finished has worn off enough?
