Distemper to Emulsion
Previously I used distemper on my wall. Can I use emulsions (for ex: tractor emulsion or premium emulsion) now or do I have to only use distempers?

My ceiling was recently painted and a couple of weeks later we installed an automatic insect sprayer. It has made the ceiling paint blister and sticky. How do I repair this? I scraped off as much as I could but it’s still sticky. Thank you
We have chocolate brown siding with a white roof and white trimmed windows. We are replacing our exterior chimney and would like to know what color would be best. We also have green shutters and front door. We’re leaning towards white or a variegated gray, red, brown. Red’s not out
We moved into a house built in the late 70’s that had all of the original wallpaper. In one bathroom, the wallpaper was exceedingly more difficult to remove, so a great deal of spackling and sanding were required. I am concerned about painting this room as I do not want
Interior sheet rock surface with ‘knock’ down plaster covering the rock. Already has one coat of latex paint.
The previous owners of my home drywalled the basement bedroom and family room. They didn’t do it correctly and I can see each piece on the walls and ceilings. What can I do to repair this without having to tear it down and start over?
The previous owners of our house wallpapered the kitchen and now we’re trying to paint the walls. We’ve removed some wallpaper, and it’s down to the drywall. Nothing under the wallpaper was primed or painted previously, so my question is, what do we do now? Can we paint directly on
We accidentally painted the ceiling with the paint instead of starting with the primer. (The cans looked alike and it was super late- first mistake.) Should we go back over the ceiling with primer, then paint again? Or can we just do a second coat of paint and be done?
Removed wallpaper then painted. Noticed I didn’t removed all the glue. How do I fix uneven walls after I freshly painted the wall?
A couple of spots were missed getting sanded before the first coat of paint went on. Now I can see the spot. Can I lightly sand the spot and apply the second coat of paint?
