What color for a deck?

I have a white ranch house with hunter green shutters and a pale green roof. The deck is quite large so I really want it to look good. What color would you recommend for deck paint? I don’t much care for reds/burgundies. The stone around the deck is a combination

I sprayed on a deck sealer last fall late in the season. It dried okay but has left a greasy, waxy film on the deck. Can you tell me what it is and how I can get rid of it?

Restain with deck stain?

I accidentally put regular wood stain on my deck. Can I restain with deck stain? Does it need any prep and how long do I need to wait until I can restain? Thank you.

Paint like it used to be?

Is there any paint on the market today that is strong and durable like lead paint was? I know you can no longer use lead paint but it was by far the best paint ever!
