I have a leak above my sliding glass door on the inside. We have sealed and caulked every window and crack we can find. I was told that maybe the leak could be coming in from somewhere on the stucco on hour house and to try and apply a good sealer on the stucco and then repaint the house. Do you think this could fix the problem. We can’t seem to get it fixed….

As to the part asking about painting the house, I have not experienced any positive result when paint is used to stop moisture absorption.
I would suggest you find a qualified stucco contractor to advise you on removing the incorrectly installed door unit and replacing.
