Touching up rolled surface with a brush.

share

When I touched up a rolled surface with a brush you can tell where the touch up was done. This is on a newly painted wall and the brushed area shows up shinier than the brushed area. How can I stop this from happening again. Also how can I fix the shiny area. We have even tried rolling over it and it still shows through.

  1. When rolling over this shiny area, use more paint on your roller than you have been using. Don't be scared. Also, you will want to roll a little lighter in a wide area around the shiny area. What you are trying to do is disguise the shiny area by creating a bigger area. Give this a day for the sheen to blend and it should magically disappear.
