Painting Paneling

share

The grooves in my paneling are 2″ apart and I would like to fill them in before painting the paneling but do not want to worry about what I fill them in with to fall out after I have painted the walls. What should I use?

  1. If the grooves are two inches apart, the material falling out is the least of your concerns. Sheetrock mud will fill the bill nicely.

Your concern will be how many grooves does it take before you are truly tired of filing grooves. Hang in there though.
