We have a kitchen/family room; our walls are a mint green and our cabinets are cream. Should our crown molding match the cabinets or wall? Or should we have one color for the wall and one to match the cabinets?

If the Crown molding is along the cabinet/ceiling edge… it should match the cabinets…
Your walls and cabinets can stay the way they are, that's fine. However, in regards to your crown moulding, it should be done in white and with Semi-gloss. It helps the whole room "POP".
