Recently got my house painted with different colors. Now if you bump against the wall like the clothes hamper – the paint chips off easily and I can see the white paint behind.

How long has it been since your house was painted? What paint was used?
All paints take time to cure and have a good strong bond. Most of the time is a week or two but can take longer if you live in a high humidity area.
Also low quality paints can cause this type of problem.
Contact the contractor that did your painting and let them know there might be a problem. Any warranty issues will have to go through the contractor and/or manufacture.
