I have sanded, primed and painted kitchen cabinets white but I used a satin is there a spray that I can put on them to give them a semi-gloss look? I am not hand painting again! Thanks!!

  1. Yes, you can purchase clear finishes in spray cans that will work really well. Which you use depends on the type of paint you used on your cabinets.

For oil base paints use McCloskey's Man-O-War marine spar varnish. If I remember correctly it is available as semi-gloss or gloss in spray cans.

For water based paints (acrylic) use a water based finish. Varethane has good finishes in spray cans, both semi-gloss and gloss sheens.

There might be other products available but these are the ones I have used and know will work.
