I just put a coat of a good primer on some new drywall and can see different shades of white where the drywall and spackle joints meet. Do I need to apply another coat of primer or will my finish coat take care of this?

When in doubt, try a test paint area to see… normally one coat of latex drywall primer will suffice… assuming high quality products were used… this goes for top coating as well… we always recommend Sherwin Williams Latex Drywall Primer, and Classic-99 Latex for top coating… Good Luck!
