I walled up a room with a low cost chip-particle board. Then 3 coated it with oil primer.

The first color coat was a off white Stone finish. The second coat was a shimmer coat. I then sponged it a two color combination of golden brown to light. Then the edges were shaded and I painted the trim a dark forest green/olive.

It turned out really cool!!! Who says painters don’t paint their own places!!! Especially rewarding because I’m mostly a straight painting contractor.

It looks really good at night with the right lighting!!

The real trick was the chip board for this finish!!
