I have some old beige interior brick pillars in my living/dining and on my fireplace. I have been looking around for a while and testing different stains and paints on it.
And, I finally found one that is beautiful and easy to apply. I am using Behr copper metallic glaze, and the color is very warm and looks gorgeous with my amber glass lighting. I just lightly sponged it on the individual bricks with a sea sponge, and did not paint the mortar. Everyone loves it.
I am also troweling my interior walls with a pre-colored textured paint. Looks great, and no priming, plastering, sanding, or hole patching necessary as it covers up all imperfections.
