My boyfriend and I are redoing our bathroom and we are trying to decide what colors we should paint the walls. We both want a light gray color and our trim is going to be white. Our problem is that we a have already gotten dark brown tile for the floor. Would a light gray color still work for the walls with a dark brown tile?

With a dark brown tile on the floor if you painted the walls with ivory, it will look very good.
Personally, I am not a fan of gray and brown together. I would change the color of the walls to a really pale brown instead of light gray. Find a shade of light brown that maybe could be construed as a shade of gray, like a slate brown/beige. Just make sure the shade does not clash with your brown tile. Without seeing the tile, it's hard to judge what shade works.
