I received two opinions from exterior professional painters. Should the spaces where the siding boards meet be caulked? They agree to caulk at the corners of the house but disagree about the spaces between the siding boards. Any help would be appreciated.

Caulk them…
If you talking about the butt joints then yes caulk these.
