Film on Bathroom Walls

share

I removed every thing in my bathroom all the way down to the wall studs. I replaced the drywall. I primed the new drywall with Kilz and painted the wall a pale yellow. Now over a period of time I noticed a brown film running down the wall. What could be causing this?

  1. Have you tried washing your bathroom walls? If you are like most people, we all tend to use things in our daily lives, such as air spray, deodorant, or other hair/body products. Though you might not notice it, some of the spray will get on your walls. Every time the shower is used without a fan to draw the moisture out, it will create condensation on the walls. Add a little hair spray or some other body/hair product and you'll have brown streaks.
    I hope this helps!
