Half painted walls needing repainting.

share

Powder room walls were painted at the bottom and wall papered at the top. Once the wall paper was removed, it was clear that the bottom painted area had received several coats of paint, so the two surfaces do not match up. I want to paint the entire room, but don’t know how to even up the surface of the top and bottom of the wall. Covering it with paint will not hide the uneven surface.

  1. In my experience, the most simple resolution is to apply sheetrock joint compound to the area between to uneven surfaces. Go to the search area of Karl's website and search for "sheetrock repair." He includes some excellent tips and tricks which should help.
