I am starting my own painting business and am trying to get a rough idea how much to charge per square feet for interior walls. What would be a fair starting rate for prime and one coat,without materials and taxes?

its best to figure out how much time its going to take you to do the job. and how much paint..in our area.we do it both ways its about 35.00 dollars a hour. plus paint and misc thing you need. another way is to price it about 300. dollars a day. which includes labor and material..hope that helps
50 cents per sq ft plus paint cost.
