My in-laws want me to paint their bathroom. How much should I charge them? I am not a professional painter, but I have painted a number of rooms in the past and do a pretty good job.

Figure out how many days it will take for 1 man, and then how much do you want for 1 day's work… add to this the cost of paint, materials, equipment… and perhaps 5% for overhead like taxes etc.
