You can try a glaze with a silver tone. Spraying very light coats might tone your paneling with a silver hue.

If a glaze doesn't work then stripping and starting over is the only way. If it has some kind of stain this will be difficult as stains are hard to remove.

I assume the pink shade is a stain. But it could be a tinted lacquer. "Make it more silver" will take some experimenting.
