If your living room furniture are in warm tones try a warm tone for the walls. This should also compliment the wood trims. I would also repaint the ceiling in a warm white.
I would Paint your walls a burgundy, tan, or reddish color. Forget about matching anything with the blue tinge, in fact I would repaint the ceiling flat white or off white if you are a smoker. Straight red makes people angry and hungry, but it is still a beautiful new wall color in the right circumstances.
