Loxon XP over elastomeric?

share

Not which is better, but can Loxon XP be applied directly onto an existing, properly-prepped elastomeric? I don’t see why not, but someone told me only elastomeric can be painted over elastomeric. Thanks so much in advance.

  1. I think you can apply Loxon XP over an elastomeric coating that is in good shape. I never tried this so I recommend you talk to a Sherwin Williams sales rep, go to your local store and ask. There might be other considerations so ask a lot of questions; like preparation, priming and is Loxon XP the best product for your needs.
