I have used Shakespeare Tan by Benjamin Moore several times in my home and it's beautiful. It has a wonderful warm feeling that would look great with cherry wood and gold. It provides color without being too dramatic. With the gold border and the cherry cabinets I don't think you would want to add anything that is too bold. The bathroom would become too busy if you add another strong element.
