Restaining my house, the stain on the house is 8 yrs old. Last year I installed new windows and let weather. I’m staining the house now with semi transparent stain. Just wondering if there was a way to blend the two together? Thanks for any help!

Possible, yes. You will need some assistance from your local paint dealer. Stop in and ask if someone will come to your house and work on matching the stain color in it's present condition. This is not a very difficult thing to do but not a service a "big box" store will offer.
