The painters working on my rental house appear to be laying latex top coat over alkyd primer VERY quickly. It has been many years since I painted houses, so I’m sure formulas may have changed and improved. I do recall laying latex over still-tacky oil.
Would just like to know your opinion of any dangers of applying the latex top coat too quickly.
Many thanks!

Some oil primers dry very fast, top coat in an hour. It all depends on the brand they are using. As long as they follow the manufacture's recommendations for dry time and top coating everything should be OK.
