The brand you are using is INFERIOR… switch to Sherwin Williams or Behr Paint…
Use a good tight roller cover, 1/2 inch nap, add a little water to the paint and always finish in a down stroke; each time you roll a section that section should always be finished rolled in the same direction.
Dark colors are always difficult but having a little sheen also helps, flat is the most difficult to use.
