Paint Touch-Up

share

I recently had my laundry room redone by a contractor. After completing his project, he painted the laundry room. The walls and ceiling were painted.

He did not properly prepare the ceiling and I had to throw spackle up on two holes. After sanding, will I be able to carefully repaint over these areas without showing marks? Or, will I have to repaint the entire ceiling which was already painted to show a finished look? I would hate to have to repaint the entire ceiling which was just done.

  1. You should be able to touch up your ceiling without any marks showing, this depends on the quality of the paint. I recommend applying two coats of paint to the patched areas. The first coat will seal the small repair stopping the second coat from soaking in and showing up as a spot.
