About six months ago my husband and I sanded, primed and painted our sons hardwood floor in his room. This wouldn’t have been my first choice the previous owners had used his room as a room for her cats and well you can imagine the stains and smells. We used klizs primer then we used a green floor paint but even now its got a tacky feeling to it and it grabs hold of any matter of dust and/or dirt.

Did you use Kilz OIL BASE PRIMER? That is what you needed to use… and did you use a Floor ENAMEL? Try doing it over after sanding (lightly) and use the mentioned materials… use Sherwin Williams Porch & Deck Enamel…
