Painting an Older Building

Should an older (100 + Years) brick building be painted during the winter months? Would it be better to wait until spring?

  1. For exterior painting it needs to be warm, 50+ degrees. Many manufactures have low temp paints that can be applied at lower temperatures, 35 degrees. It is still best to have warmer temperatures.

Interior painting can be accomplished any time of the year as long as the room is 50 degrees or warmer. Warmer temperatures will help with drying and curing.
