Hello,
I have a small-ish section of guttering at the back of my house which, for some reason, is bare metal (probably tin or maybe galvanised steel?).
I have an external acrylic paint which I want to use on it, but I’m not sure if I need to use a primer on the bare metal first or not.
Could you please advise if I will need to prime the guttering first or can I just put 2-3 coats of the exterior paint straight on?
Thanks,

It’s best to prime it first with an exterior grade oil base sealer-primer…
Good Luck!
