I would like to use my dining room table as a kitchen table. It current has years of wax on it. I would like to put a finish on it that will hold up to dishcloth wiping, etc. Do I need to remove the wax before starting? From what I am reading, it sounds like my best route would be Acrylic Urethane would you agree?
