Removing Nap Marks

share

I have a plaster ceiling that I primed. It came out absolutely smooth. I then painted it with a ceiling paint and my roller left behind nap marks over my smooth primed ceiling. Is there any way to restore my ceiling to the smooth surface I had before?

  1. Block sand it using coarse grade paper, just enough to smooth out the roller lap marks… then repaint, only this time use proper rolling technique, which will leave NO overlap roller marks… your problem is you don't know how to roll properly… in addition use a High Quality Paint, like Sherwin Williams Classic-99 …use a flat finish for ceilings…
