I have a 13 X 27 living room, with 2 windows and a door on one wall. My furniture is dark green with dark wood accents. I can’t afford new furniture. We want to get rid of the yellow, what color would you suggest?

I believe an ecru or a warm beige would go nicely with the dark green wood accented furniture. You could trim any areas needing trim with a maroon or burgundy. This should make a lovely room.
I think sticking with the natural theme of the dark green and wood furniture would be nice; go with a lighter green for the walls. It could either be a powerful tint like lime green, or just a faint mint hue that's almost a whitish look at first glance. But if you'd rather go with a very classical and elegant look, a dark red could look nice as well.
