I want to repaint one wall of my daughters room that’s gotten a beating. I will paint it the exact color and finish (flat) as is there now. Will there be a marked difference in color?

There could be a difference in the paint colors if the original paint isn't used. Plus, some colors don't touch up well. To reduce this effect paint the entire wall from corner to corner. Cut in a straight line at each corner to avoid any problems.
