I am painting my house while I am staying in the house with family and a small boy of 3 years old. Having central air conditioning, does it impact me and my family’s health to do the painting?

No unless you have previous health problems related to breathing… in all cases always use plenty of ventilation (open windows, use fans) while painting and afterwords for several hours while the paint drys (assuming you are using acrylic paint… if you are using oil, drying will take hours to a full day and will produce more potentially irritating odors…
Central Air will not cause any extra problems…
