1. I prefer orange color to be painted in the living room. It looks awesome in the orange color and especially when the room has pearl colored furniture and a brown rug.

2. In choosing the color for a living room, you want to have a room that is warm and inviting, but one that also matches your furniture and rug. You have furniture and a rug that are both fairly neutral in color. Thus, you would want a bright color for the walls to make the room welcoming and warm. A bright red would work well for this. Be sure to avoid cooler colors like greens or blues.
