White doors with stained trim?

share

I have original stained flat mahogany doors with stained trim throughout. The double french doors are also stained. Would it look right to replace all stained mahogany doors with 800 series white and leaving the french doors stained? ps- The mahogany veneer is starting to dry and peel off.

  1. I think this looks really good. We have done this and the opposite, painted trim-frames with stained doors, and I always liked the look. It accents the doors, showing them off. Unfortunately I don't have a photo to show this look.
