Correct Thickness of Coats

share

What is the correct thickness of paint when applied to plasterboard?

One Response

  1. Depends on manufacture, type of paint and sheen but 1-1/2 – 2 mils dry is about average. This would be 2 fairly thick coats and can be done as two separate coats to lesson runs.

The exact thickness for your paint could be different. Contact the manufacture or visit their website to get the exact recommended thickness.
