What is better, air or airless sprayers?

Depends on what will be painted and what type of paint. Both methods are very good but with limitations. An airless sprayer can apply heavier coatings at a faster rate while a conventional sprayer (air) will apply thinner materials producing a smoother finer finish.

For regular house paints an airless sprayer is the way to go.
