Hi, I stained my kitchen cabinets from Oak to Mahogany color. I thought they looked OK (though I should have done inside the doors). The problem is I am selling my home now and the comments have been that they look bad/cheap. Is there anyway I can fix the stain job? It is a bit streaky. Thank you!

You might have applied stain over a varnish or sealed or waxed surface, which could cause these types of problems… you should have sanded all surfaces with medium paper before hand, then wipe them with rag and Lacquer Thinner…
At this point you really have only one option… paint them…
Be sure to prime them using a pigmented shellac primer before hand… then finish coat using a high quality paint, semi gloss…
