I have black and grey granite countertops with a white backsplash. And I have oak cabinets. What colour should I paint the walls? Also, I have light birch flooring. Any ideas for a colour?

I think you should paint the walls in a light yellow color to lighten up the space. Also, it should compliment the floors and cabinets.
If your oak cabinets have an orange tone to it, I would choose a color from the red tones for the wall, a pale rich shade, not a pink color. It would compliment the warmth of your oak cabinets, & it should work beautifully w/the black & grey counter tops. Also red stimulates the appetite.
